Breech birth online educational module
Delivered a soft launch of an online educational module for maternity providers in Canada as part of a group project. The intended outcomes were to create informative and understandable illustrations and videos in order to better prepare maternity providers to effectively and safely deliver breech babies.
This project will be published on The University of British Columbia's Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD) website, in affiliation with The University of British Columbia's Biomedical Visualisation and Communication course (UBC BMVC).
Illustrations
The graphics were designed to be audience-specific and stylised to ensure they were not over-complex but simple and easy to understand, whilst also maintaining inclusivity.
Icon design and branding
It was important to collectively agree on the colour scheme and icon design so that they were readable, understandable and accessible, whilst also being pleasant and engaging to ensure compliance.
